Invisalign

Invisalign

Invisalign is an orthodontic system that uses transparent plastic aligners to progressively align teeth. These aligners are customized for each patient and are worn continuously, except for eating and brushing.

Every two weeks, a new set of aligners is used to progressively move the teeth according to the treatment plan established by the orthodontist. Invisalign offers the advantage of being virtually invisible, comfortable and removable, enabling you to transform your smile without disrupting your daily routine.

Regular check-ups with the orthodontist are necessary to monitor treatment progress.

Is there an age limit for orthodontic treatment?

There is no age limit for starting orthodontic treatment. Although traditionally associated with childhood and adolescence, orthodontics is also practiced in adults. More and more adults are consulting orthodontists to correct dental and jaw problems, whether aesthetic or functional. Orthodontics in adults can improve chewing function and prevent associated disorders.

How long does orthodontic treatment last?

The length of treatment depends entirely on the problem to be corrected. But it's generally quite long (around 1 to 2 years on average) because it's very gradual.
