Teeth Whitening

Tooth whitening

Tooth whitening offers the opportunity to achieve a brighter smile and whiter teeth. This procedure is offered to patients wishing to correct abnormal discolouration caused by factors such as smoking, the consumption of staining foods or certain drug treatments.

Technological advances in whitening methods and products make it possible to achieve effective results while preserving the health of the teeth. Options are available, ranging from professional in-office care to at-home whitening kits, offering patients flexibility according to their preferences and schedule.

Types of whitening :

There are two main types of application for tooth whitening:

Home application:

A special mouth tray is custom-made to fit the patient's mouth.

The patient regularly applies the gel supplied by the dentist to the tray and wears it for a set period of time.

In-clinic application:

A special gel is applied to the teeth by a dental professional.

The gums are protected before application.

A light device can be used to activate the gel and speed up the whitening process.
